Country cooking, hole in the wall, reminds me of 1950's diners all over the south. Sweet folks working this place. If you like country fried steak , get it! It was delicious and I had it along with mashed potatoes and fried okra.

Nice selection of foods. Odd texture to the Chopped steak and tasted more like meatloaf than hamburger. Green beans were good. Needed to dice and sauté the onions before including in the tater cakes. Hubby added his chicken fried steak was U-shaped.

Stopped in for a late breakfast and was delighted. When you first walk in you notice a board with the daily specials and a sign that says “seat yourself” We waited no time to be served. Waitress was very nice (Amanda) and brewed a fresh pot of decaf for my husband. We ordered pancakes and a big breakfast. The waitress told me the pancakes were huge but I took my risk. I should’ve ordered just one. She was not lying! My husband was pleased with his hash browns, eggs, country ham and 2 gravy biscuits. I seen the ladies cutting fresh vegetables for I’m guessing a salad bar? We will definitely be back for lunch! They have a lunch buffet with weekly specials for less than $7! Patty’s is a great little stop and you won’t leave with an empty belly.
